O-M-G! This was, by far, the best audiobook I have EVER listened to! I not only listened to it, but I also binge-listened to it! Macmillan Audio did a fantastic job selecting not only one, but two narrators for Alice Feeney's newest release, "His & Hers." Richard Armitage and Stephanie Racine's narrations were right on point and, bloody hell, the killer's voice was the absolute creepiest!

Even if you are not an audiobook fan, listen to this - let "His & Hers" be the exception!

This nail-biting story is told from three different POVs: his, hers, and the killers—each section bringing us deeper into the darkness that is the human psyche. As newsreader Anna Andrews and Detective Jack Harper find themselves mixed up in Blackdown's latest murder investigation, it is near impossible to trust any of the characters. With several misdirects and questionable reliability, there were SO many times that I, for sure, thought that I had finally figured everything out. Still, NOTHING could prepare me for those final moments! This was by far one of the wildest book endings, in the best way possible!

The author succeeds in taking her readers on a journey, an observation really, hell-bent on discovering just how far we, as a human race, are willing to go to protect our secrets.

Alice Feeney has written herself straight into my Top 5 of 2020! I've rated this book a firm, five-glorious-stars and would highly recommend it to psychological thriller fans everywhere. If you have the chance to experience the audio version, do yourself a favor and press play. I can guarantee you won't regret it!

Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers at Macmillan Audio, and the author Alice Feeney for providing me with an advanced listener's copy of this title in exchange for my honest review.

I'd also like to take a moment to thank one of my best bookstagram buddies, Nina! She surprised me with an Amazon gift card for my birthday, and I chose to pre-order the hardback of His & Hers for my personal collection!

Book Blurb:
There are two sides to every story: yours and mine, ours and theirs, His & Hers. Which means someone is always lying.

When a woman is murdered in Blackdown, a quintessentially British village, newsreader Anna Andrews is reluctant to cover the case. Detective Jack Harper is suspicious of her involvement until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.

Someone isn't telling the truth, and some secrets are worth killing to keep.

His & Hers is a twisty, smart, psychological thriller. A gripping tale of suspense, told by expertly-drawn narrators that will keep readers guessing until the very end.
